During his tenure at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital, which is one of India’s top 5 centers for Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, highlights his advanced capabilities in robotic surgery.
Dr. Pradhan’s professional affiliations include memberships in the Urological Society of India, Urological Association of Asia, Society of Genito-Urinary Oncologists, and the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India. These memberships reflect his commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in his field and contributing to the broader medical community.
Throughout his career, Dr. Pradhan has garnered several accolades. He won the second prize for his paper presentation at KSC ASICON 2017 and received an award for his video presentation at KSC ASICON 2014. He has also moderated live surgical sessions and participated in the Intuitive Proctorship Programme, helping to initiate robotic programs in prominent hospitals at Bangalore.
Dr. Pradhan’s academic contributions and research further underscore his commitment to advancing the field of Urology. He co-authored a chapter on “Adrenal Disorders” in the Academy of Uro-Oncology 2024 and has published numerous research articles. His publications include studies on the use of mosquito net mesh versus polypropylene mesh in tension-free repair of inguinal hernia, ovarian vein thrombosis in renal cell carcinoma, and current trends in Urology practice during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he serves as a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Surgery, lending his expertise to the evaluation of research in his field.
